Heroic Hospital Quest: A Book Donation Celebration

Published about 1 year ago by Alexis Alexander

Childhood is a brief chapter in life that leaves a lasting imprint as we grow. It’s the foundation of our whole lives; the place where our stories, relationships and memories begin.

When Alexis Alexander's second child was born, he felt a clear shift in his priorities. He quit his corporate job to spend more time with family while pursuing his dream of becoming the next Robert Munsch. Around the same time, his young son was diagnosed with a medical condition requiring surgery at SickKids before his first birthday. With the support of a fantastic medical team, Alexis’ son has made a full recovery and is thriving today.

Alexis Alexander, author of the Friendly Fables children’s book series, is donating 1,000 copies of Heroic Hospital Quest to the SickKids Foundation. A regular volunteer at the hospital and a former SickKids parent himself, Alexis is thrilled that these books will be given to pediatric patients during their hospital stay. Additionally, the author has committed to donating $1 from every copy of Heroic Hospital Quest sold in support of the hospital.

The giving doesn’t stop there! On November 22nd, Alexis Alexander will be hosting a fundraiser to further his mission to donate more books to The Hospital For Sick Children. This invitation-only event will feature a charitable auction, door prizes, food and drink, as well as opportunities to donate books or funds to the hospital.

If you cannot attend but wish to support Alexis and his event, please click the below button. For every $10 increment a Friendly Fables book will be donated in your name to the SickKids Foundation. Thank you.
